Toshiba HD DVD Player HD-A2
This is Toshiba's 2nd generation DVD player. This DVD outperforms the 1 generation. It packs a smaller unit in nice glossy black unit. The performance time of loading up the disc is half the wait. This is a big improvement over its predecessor. Many times I would wait for the disc to load ie 1 minute on the first gernation compared to to the HD-A2.

Conclusion
This player only does the most 1080i compared to the much more expensive unit of HDXA2. If you are looking for an inexpensive option for HD-DVD, the Toshiba HD-A2 is for you. Over the few months over the introduction, the unit price has decreased 25%. It is a great unit for upconverting regular DVD's. Overall a good buy.
